Cookie Policy
Paper Street Labs LLC · Last updated September 30, 2026 · Version 2026-09-30
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. We use as few as we can: the ones the site needs to work, and — only if you allow it where the law requires a choice — Google Analytics to understand which features parents use. We don't use advertising cookies. See also our Privacy Policy.
1. Essential cookies (always on)
These keep the site working and secure, so they can't be switched off here.
| Name | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|
| better-auth.session_token, better-auth.session_data | Keeps you signed in. | Up to 7 days, renewed while you use the site |
| bai_guest | A random ID that lets each browser use its one free try per AI tool, and see its own results. | 13 months |
| bai_src | Where a visit came from (campaign tags, referring site, first page), saved with your account if you sign up. No identifier. | Until the browser closes |
| Cloudflare Turnstile | Bot protection on sign-up and free tries. | Session |
| bai_cookie_consent (local storage) | Remembers your cookie choice. | Until you clear it |
2. Analytics cookies (your choice)
| Name | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|
| _ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics: which pages and features are used, in aggregate. | Up to 2 years |
| _clck, _clsk, CLID, MUID | Microsoft Clarity: heatmaps and session replays that show where pages are confusing. Your photos, your baby's details and your account and studio pages are hidden from it. | Up to 1 year |
| _cs_id, _cs_s, _cs_c, _hj* | Hotjar: heatmaps, session replays and short feedback questions. Your photos, your baby's details and your account and studio pages are hidden from it. | Up to 13 months |
In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland these are only set after you choose "Yes, have one!". Elsewhere they are on unless you choose "Only essentials". Until then, Google may receive cookieless, anonymous signals (Google Consent Mode).
Microsoft Clarity and Hotjar only run after you choose "Yes, have one!", wherever you are.
3. Changing your choice
You can change your choice at any time: . You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; blocking essential cookies will sign you out and may stop free tries from working.
4. Changes
If we add or change cookies, we'll update this page and its version.
